Wild beat the Blues twice in 7 days.

The Minnesota Wild beat the St. Louis Blues 6-3 in a rare Saturday afternoon game at the Xcel Energy Center. Former UMD Bulldog Justin Fontaine led the Wild with a goal and two assist. the victory gives the Wild their 40th win with a 40-25-7 record and 87 points and the number 1 wild card team in the Western Conference with Winnipeg in second  3 points behind and LA Kings third with 82 points. It is very possible the Minnesota Wild would play the St. Louis Blues in the first round of the playoffs if everything holds the last 10 games of the regular season.
