St Cloud State's Drew LeBlanc Player of the Week in the WCHA

Former Hermantown player Drew LeBlanc was the offensive Player of the week in the WCHA. Drew scored 4 points on Friday night and a goal on Saturday for the St. Cloud State Huskies. Drew who returned to the Huskies after taken last year off after breaking his leg early in the season. He applied for a Red Shirt from the NCAA so he could play this season. The Senior Captain is making a big statement to start this season off.

Michigan Tech beats Gophers

Michigan Tech has a different attitude ever since Mel Pearson came over from Michigan after 23 years as an assistant coach. Coach Pearson who played at Tech during his college days played his High School Hockey at Edina in Minnesota. The mystery of the Gopher team was who could replace Patterson in the nets this year. With the 5-3 loss last night to Michigan Tech the mystery remains to be solved. Here is the WCHA box score.
