Mahtomedi scored with 48 seconds left in the third period to beat Hermantown 2-1 and Warroad scored 16 seconds into the 2nd Overtime to take a 4-3 victory over Orono. This will be Warroad’s second straight State Tournament Championship game which they lost 3-2 last year to Hermantown. The two games were seen with the biggest crowd in a Semi-Final games since Class A came into existence. Peyton Sunderland # 33 scored hiis first goal of the season to open the scoring for Warroad today.
