1am # 3 seed Mahtomedi 15-11-1 vs. Northfield 19-5-3. Mahtomedi will win this game even though they are not as deep as the pass. # 2 Luke Posner will lead the way.
6pm # 1 seed Hermantown 26-1-1 vs Luverne 22-5-1. This will be another running time game lead by D-1 players # 11 Ryan Sandelin and # 12 Dyan Samberg. they also have one of the best goalies in the state in # 35 Cade Mcewen. Hermantown is a very deep team and expect them to repeat as State Champs.
8pm # 4 seed East Grand Forks 17-8-2 vs. # 5 seed St. Cloud Cathedral 20-6-2. This could be the best game of the first day. I see OT. East Grand Forks in a thriller.
