On Monday February 3, 2014 four of the area's best boys hockey teams will take to the Duluth Heritage Sports Center ice in the 4th annual Perkins's High School Hockey Frenzy. In the opener, Duluth Denfeld will face LSC rival Hermantown at 5PM, while Duluth East and Cloquet-Esko-Carlton will square off at 7:15 PM. Both varsity games will be played in Sill Arena, while the JV teams from the these same schools will clash in Seitz Arena.
In addition to what's likely to be the best high school hockey of the season, there will be a variety of both on-ice and off ice entertainment between periods.
Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $5 for students & seniors. The proceeds from this special event help fund the athletic programs for both Duluth schools.
